No services are scheduled at this time for Anthony "Tony" Bruce McCall, 62.

The son of the late Earl Howard Coffey and Elsie Naomie (McCall) Coffey, Tony was born on December 27, 1949, in Lenoir, North Carolina, and passed away November 9, 2012, at his Ardmore residence.

A resident of Ardmore for the past 35 years, Tony moved here from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He grew up in Lenoir, North Carolina, where he graduated from Gamewell-Collettsville High School in the class of 1969. He and the former Mary Linda Layton were married on November 23, 1978, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Tony was a retired truck driver with Ryder Logistics of Ardmore. He had a passion for art, whether it was with woodwork or painting having placed several pieces over the years into art shows. Tony's main hobby was making guns, he built and assembled them for sale. He was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church.

He served his country in the United States Army, Tony received the National Defense Service Medal, Driver Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd award), Army Commendation Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon – 1, Missile Bar (Marksman), Army Achievement Medal, Expert (Rifle M-16) and an Honorable Discharge.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; daughter, Jennifer Blount and husband, Darwin of Ardmore; adopted children, Desiree McGarity and Donnie Clark; grandchildren, Victoria Ruth McCall and Tanner Bruce Blount; sisters, Brenda Carole McCall of Hudson, N.C., and Johnsie Hayes of N.C.; and brother, Danny Ray McCall and wife, Paulette of Lenoir, N.C.
Preceded in death by his biological parents and his adopted parents, Jacob Ray McCall and Letha Washington Winkler McCall; and brother, Paul Coffey.
