The University of Oklahoma men’s cross country team moved up two spots to No. 6 in the latest national rankings provided Tuesday by the U.S.Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Sooners climbed the polls after they were ranked No. 8 the past three weeks. Oklahoma State held onto the top spot while Iona and Stanford tied for second and Wisconsin and Texas rounded out the top five, respectively. The Crimson and Cream moved up the poll after it tied for first place with in-state foe Oklahoma State at the Midwest Regional meet last weekend in Springfield, Mo., which saw six Sooners take home All-Region honors.
