Services for Willie Eberhart, 66, will be at 10 Saturday morning, November 17, in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with the Reverend Eugene Belor officiating. Burial will follow at Provence Cemetery.
The son of the late Joseph Warren and Betty Mae Hockersmith Eberhart, Willie was born October 21, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away November 8, in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
Willie served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1990. He worked as a mill hand in a paper mill in Arizona until he retired. He moved to Ardmore in 2007.
Willie enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and all types of wildlife. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his four sons, Willy, of Salem, Ill., Tony and Milton, both of Arizona, and Buck of Aztec, N.M.; brothers, Joseph William of Oklahoma and Joseph Carmen of Texas; sisters, Nancy Bracket and Everma Eberhart, both of Oklahoma, and Iva Jo Eberhart of Missouri; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
His sisters, Suzie Barnard and Janie Adams, brother, Jackie and great-grandson, Ryan Eberhart, preceded him in death.
Serving as bearers will be Buck, Tony, Joshua, Calvin and Cody Eberhart and Ryan Kizzar. Honorary bearers will be T.J. and Willy Eberhart and Dillon and Steven Watkins.
