The Oklahoma Environmental Training Center of Rose State College is providing a free wastewater treatment course for Oklahoma tribal Cameron University in Lawton, from 8am to 5 pm December 5-6.

Rose State has been awarded a contract by the Environmental Protection Agency to provide water treatment training to Oklahoma’s 37 Native American tribes.

Called the Tribal Water & Wastewater Management Institute, the program will provide training opportunities to tribes for onsite septic and large capacity septic systems on tribal lands in Oklahoma. Recognized experts will provide technical visits and the college will host a program webpage to provide twenty-four/seven access.
