Five people are in custody following a robbery and shooting Sunday night.

The gunshot victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the buttocks area that passed through the front of a leg. The victim was treated and released from the hospital and a second victim was uninjured.

The incident took place at 11 p.m. at a residence in the 1200 block of M Street NE. An investigation revealed two women and three male subjects conspired to rob and assault the victims.
