The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will present the 2013 edition of “America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration” October 14-19 in Stillwater concluding with the Texas Christian vs. OSU football game.
The announcement follows the release of Cowboy football’s 2013 schedule, which included only two home games in October. Major events will include the Harvest Carnival and Chili Cook-Off (October 15), Walkaround (October 18) and the Sea of Orange Parade (October 19). OSU will also be celebrating the 50-year reunion of the Class of 1963.
The theme will be decided by the nine Homecoming executives in February 2013 and announced to the public in March.
OSU Homecoming 2012 drew record crowds to Stillwater including an estimated 82,000 on Friday night for Walkaround. More than 57,000 attended this year’s game against Iowa State – the seventh-largest crowd in Boone Pickens Stadium history.
