  • The University of Oklahoma announced the addition of 13 student-athletes in the early signing period as part of the 2014 incoming class on Wednesday.

"I'm really excited about this signing class and the balance that it brings to our program," said Golloway. "Our coaching staff has done an outstanding job of filling our future needs. Although we understand that some of these young men will have an opportunity to sign a Major League Baseball contract, we feel we have projected well to keep our program in a strong position and

have extremely talented student-athletes representing the University of Oklahoma for years to come."

The Sooners welcome 10 high school players for the '14 campaign, including three hailing from the state of Oklahoma. Right-handed pitcher Bryant Hodge (Moore/Christian Heritage Academy), infielder Trey Michalczewski (Jenks/Jenks HS) and right-handed pitcher Kyle Stephens (Edmond/Edmond HS) will represent the Sooner State.
