  • Memorial Services for Terry Wayne Long, 53, are scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin and Rev. Todd Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Craddock Funeral Home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

  • Memorial Services for Terry Wayne Long, 53, are scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin and Rev. Todd Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Craddock Funeral Home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
    Terry was born in Atlanta on Nov. 29, 1959 to Henry Jackson Long and Betty Jean Schultz.
    He joined the army at 19 and retired after serving his country for 20 years. He received his Bachelor's degree from East Central University and was pursuing his Master's degree in Human Resources. His many loves included his family, his church, and the Community Children's Shelter where he felt privileged to be the Executive Director.
    Terry was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ardmore for many years. He was also a member of the FBC Fusion Band where he was able to share his love for The Lord with his church family. Terry also served his community through his volunteer efforts.
    He was a dedicated, loving, and supportive father and grand-father that will be deeply missed and always remembered.
    He is remembered lovingly by; Shelley Clements, Andrew Long, Terry Long Jr., and Jackson Long his children;, Levi and Layne Clements his grandchildren; Karen Long, the Mother of his children; Mary Nell Camp, step-mother, Robin Hiday, sister, Jason Clements, son-in-law, Erica Jones, two nieces, his First Baptist Family and his beloved dogs Robbie and Apollo.
    Honorary Pallbearers will be Phil Paxson, Mike Laird, Todd Davidson, Dr. Keith Troop, Sean Snyder, Amye Lambert, Kevin Hill, Billy Wallace, members of the First Baptist Church and Staff of Community Children's Shelter.
