Bob was born on July 27, 1925, to Mr. Robert E. Taylor Sr. and Eva (Calhoun) Taylor.
Bob served his country during World War II in the United States Marine Corps and received his Honorable Discharge. He married Thelma Cannon in 1946 and this began their pursuit of the American Dream and that dream continued with the birth of two sons, Don Paul and Michael Earl Taylor. Bob and Thelma moved to Andrews where they reared their family. He worked for 39 years for Mobile Productions and was able to retire at the age of 60. In 1993, the couple moved to Buchanan Dam, Texas, to live out their retirement to enjoy the Texas Hill Country.
In 1998, their son, Don, passed on and on February 12, 2010, the love of his life, Thelma, passed away.
He is survived by his son, Michael Earl, of Cumby, Texas; and grandson, Michael Paul, and his companion, Lillie Warren, of Buchanan Dam, Texas.
