  • Multiple races set for school board elections in February

  • Several races will be taking place on Feb. 12 for area school board seats.
    In Turner, incumbent Belinda Wild will take on Gary Dill.
    For the Marietta seat, Candice Minyard and Allen Woody will face off.
    In Madill, voters will decide between Doug Lawrence and Sibyl Cantrell.
    For Ringling, Sharri Hiller will take on Brandon Martin.
    In Tishomingo. Michael McCarthy and Darrell W. Gunter will face off for a four-year unexpired term.
    For Wapunucka office, Connie Truett will take on Fred Johnson.
    In Coleman, voters will decide between Faye White Self, Kris Rogers and D. John Horath.
    Running unopposed include Wade McCaskill in Davis and Jenny Trett in Sulphur.
    In Thackerville, Layton Shurbet will serve an unexpired term, and Darian Galloway will have Seat 3.
    Betty Sue Tow will have the Greenville seat, and Randy Arneson will serve in Kingston.
    In Mannsville, Rick Peoples will serve a full term, while T.J. Clements will serve an unexpired term.
    In Milburn, Steven Townsend will serve a five-year term, and Gina Phillips will serve a four-year term.
    In Mill Creek, Trent Maness will serve a full term, and Kevin Hook will serve a four-year term.
    In Ravia, Dwayne Carroll will serve a full term, and Kenya Lane will serve an unexpired term.
    John Edward Clary will serve a full term in Tishomingo.
