Another successful Santa Night has come and gone.
Thursday, almost 300 Johnston County kids got to meet old Saint Nick, thanks to Murray State College and the students and staff of the Veterinary Technology Program during the eighth annual Santa Night.
Every child got their picture taken with Santa Claus and a gift bag to take home.
The Johnston County Fair Barn was decorated for the holiday season, and Santa's Helpers were dressed as trees, elves and Christmas packages. Canine helpers even got into the spirit by donning holiday costumes.
"Thank you to everyone who helped make Santa Night a huge success again this year," said Dr. Carey Floyd, veterinary technology program director. "We also received many donations from MSC faculty and staff at Tishomingo and Ardmore that helped to provide gifts and pictures with Santa for about 275 children and Christmas Dinner boxes to 6 lucky winners."
