CLEVEAND – After the completion of six NCAA Championships, The University of Tulsa is ranked 17th in the Division I Learfield Sports Director's Cup standings.
North Carolina leads the standings with 292.0 points, while Tulsa has 165.0 points. The next closest Conference USA competitor is SMU with a ranking of 60th with 54.0 points, followed by UCF at 66th with 50.0 points. Tulsa also ranks ahead of state schools Oklahoma State (21st with 148 points) and Oklahoma (51st with 70.5 points).
Four Tulsa teams have won Conference USA Championships this fall, including men's cross-country, men's soccer, women's volleyball and football. The Hurricane volleyball team won both regular season and post-season titles, while football captured the West Division crown and won the championship game.
