Juanita Elaine Martin, 80 of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital Ardmore. She was born on December 22, 1931, in Madill, Oklahoma, to the late William Robert Bourland and Mabel Morgan Bourland.
Juanita was raised in Madill where she graduated from the Madill High School in 1950. She married Royce Vaden Martin on January 27, 1951, in DeQueen, Arkansas. In 1957, they moved to Ardmore where they lived the rest of her life. Juanita was a member of the Southern Circle Square Dancers and the Church of Christ. She was a devoted fan of OU football, OU women's basketball, Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Juanita enjoyed bowling, square dancing, fishing and keeping her babies.
She is survived by: husband, Royce Vaden Martin, Ardmore, Oklahoma; children, Lori Dawn Sampson and husband, Mark, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Lisa Denise Garrison and husband, Dennis, Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew Garrison, Zachary Garrison, Robert Sampson and Joshua Sampson; sister, Alicia Jeanette Abbott, Lubbock, Texas; special daughter, Jovita Black, Lone Grove, Oklahoma; and neices and nephews, Alicia Rigney, Neal Abbott, Linda Menage, Tammie West, Jason West, Vickie Stinett and Donald Ray Hosler Jr.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert and Mable Morgan Bourland; and sister, Flora Turner.
Casket bearers: Matthew Garrison, Robert Sampson, Zachary Garrison, Joshua Sampson, Mark Simpson, Dennis Garrison, Randy Black and Ben Bruster.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Don Preston will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Woodberry Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
