A native of Valencia, Calif., Shults was drafted with the first pick of the second round (fifth overall) in the 2013 NPF Draft on April 1 by the Pride.

To Aubrey, a sophomore at the Univer­sity of Texas, the 4,000-mile bike trek from Austin, Texas, to Anchorage, Alaska, is both uplifting and sad. But the former outweighs the latter.
