Memorial service for Charlotte Lynch Henderson is scheduled for Thursday the 27th of December. Services will be at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with Father Steve Bilsbury officiating. A Eulogy will be given by Rev. Sharen Hale.
Mrs. Henderson was born August 24, 1931, in Ardmore, Okla., to Charles C. and Hazel Richardson Lynch. She passed this life Dec. 15th in Houston, Texas, at the age of 81. She and Sydney Wilson Henderson where married in Ardmore, but he preceded her in death on August 26, 1991. She earned her degree from North Texas University and had worked as a school teacher and ran the family owned oil company for over 41 years. She and her family lived in Ardmore for many years, but moved to Kingwood Texas in 1979.
Besides devoting her life to her family, she was active in many organizations throughout her life such as, Daughters of the King and she was a Precinct Chairman and Election Judge for many years in Harris County and she a member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth in Ardmore.
She is survived by a son, Charles Henderson of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Sharon Henderson Winter of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Lloyd O. Winter II of Denver, Colo., and Justin Winter of Austin, Texas.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be left to the Shriner’s or Diabetes Foundation.
