  • Gary Scott Gray, 52 of Ardmore, Okla. passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at his home in Ar­dmore. He was born on Dec. 11, 1960 in Bartles­ville, Okla. to Frank Wesley Gray and Betty Jean Moses Gray. Gary was raised in Bartlesville where he graduated high school in 1979. He later moved to Ardmore where he worked for the Slaugh­ter Company as an assis­tant controller for nearly 30 years. He married Alana Lynn Newton on October 1, 1990 in Gaines­ville, Texas. Gary enjoyed fishing, golfing and listen­ing to music.

    He is survived by his wife, Alana Lynn Gray of Ardmore, Okla.; children Rusty Wood and husband Larry of Ardmore, Okla., Misty Hutchings and hus­band Scott of Tishomin­go, Okla., Cierra Dillon and husband Dustin of Mannsville, Okla., Curtis Gray of Ardmore, Okla. and Dean Gray of Ard­more, Okla.; grandchil­dren Jenna Hutchings, Jakob Hutchings, Jonah Hutchings, Ella Wood and Allie Wood; mother Betty Gray of Bartlesville, Okla., several nieces and nephews.

    Gary was preceded in death by his father Frank Wesley Gray and two brothers, Randy and Chuck Gray.

    Casket bearers are Na­than Newton, Carl Burris, Larry Wood, Scott Hutch­ings, Dustin Dillon and Curtis Gray.

    Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at the Watts Memo­rial Chapel, Madill, Okla. Joe Patterson will offici­ate the services. Interment will be at the Shay Cem­etery, Shay, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuner­alhome.com.
