Private services for Jacquelyn Suzanne Pierce, 31, of Healdton, Oklahoma, were at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Pridemore officiating.
Jacquelyn or, Jackie, as she was known by family and friends was born June 18, 1981, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Neal Wesley and Janet Sue “Busby” Watkins. She departed this life on January 2, 2013, in Healdton, Oklahoma.
Jackie had lived in several towns in the area as a child before moving to Healdton where she attended high school. She then married Clif Pierce on January 16, 2001, in Gainesville, Texas. Making their home in Healdton, Oklahoma, where she owned and operated a dog grooming business from 2003 to 2004. She then became a full-time housewife and mother to their autistic child, Callie. She devoted her life to Callie, Kendall, Caleb and husband, Clif. She spent a lot of time and effort in researching the effects of autism and reaching out to other parents of autistic children, by helping them understand how to better deal with their situation. That was her calling in life and something very dear to her heart.
Jackie’s hobbies were her family, whether it be going out to dinner with Clif, or caring for her children, something that she took great pride in doing. Everyone that knew her knew if they needed anything at all, whether it be emotional support or something tangible, it was theirs for the asking, and she would never give a second thought about it.
She is truly going to be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Clif, two daughters, Callie and Kendall, and one son, Caleb Pierce, all of the home; mother-in-law, Lula Pierce of Healdton; father-in-law, John Pierce and Paty of Healdton; mother, Jannet McCorroll of Ardmore; father, Neal Watkins and stepmother, Betty Watkins of Ardmore; two sisters, Wendy and Crystal Watkins of Ardmore; one brother, Wesley Watkins of Ardmore; sister-in-law, Lori Rowland of Keller, Texas; brother-in-law, Todd Pierce of Edmond, Oklahoma; several uncles; and numerous other family and friends.
