The Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma announces Stacey Mason has been named executive director of the agency.
"We are excited about the knowledge and experience that Stacey brings to our organization. With her leadership and our existing staff, we will continue to serve our community and strive to eliminate violence against men, women and children," said Jake Charnock, Family Shelter Board President.
An Ardmore native, Mason received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Human Resources from East Central University. Before joining the Family Shelter, she worked for 10 years at the Community Children's Shelter as the supervisor of the Family Resource Program.
"I am grateful to the Family Shelter Board for giving me this amazing opportunity and look forward to working with the staff to continue the shelter's mission to eliminate domestic violence in our community," Mason said.
