An Austin, Texas, woman was injured Thursday afternoon when her 2005 Nissan ran off the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 and rolled.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Vicki Brown, 62, was taken by ambulance to Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur. She was admitted in serious condition with head injuries.
The crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. near the 49 mile marker. OHP said Brown’s car ran off the road to the right and she overcorrected, sending the car to the left and rolling. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Cause of the accident was listed as inattention.
