  • Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Jane (Holmes) Hacker, 69, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with the Rev. Wayne Howard officiating and Les Hacker providing the Eulogy. Interment will follow at the Hewitt Cem­etery of Wilson, Okla.

    Jane was born Novem­ber 23, 1943, at Fox, Okla­homa, to the late Mr. Ben Sewell Holmes and Mrs. Nora Willie (Beck) Hol­mes. She departed this life Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Mercy Hospital of Ardmore.

    Jane was raised in Fox attending school at Fox. She married Mr. Ken­neth Hacker February 20,1959, at Fox Pentecos­tal Holiness Church and they made their home in Wilson before moving to California. They moved back to Oklahoma where Jane remained the rest of her life. She worked at Humpty Dumpty Gro­cery Store in Ardmore and most recently worked at the Wilson Travel Plaza and Casino. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and doing quilting and embroidery, watching game shows but mostly enjoyed spending time with her kids and grand­kids.

    Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. Ben Sewell Holmes and Mrs. Nora Willie (Beck) Hol­mes; and one stillborn sister, Marilyn.

    Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hacker of the home; daughter, Connie Upton and husband, Bobby of Lone Grove; sons, Mike Hacker and wife, Stepha­nie of Plainview, and Jeff Hacker and wife, Terri of Ardmore; grandchildren, Bobby Horton and wife, Heather, Casey Horton and wife, Lindsey, Dani­elle Hacker, Rachel Hack­er, Kristy Hacker and Matt Perry, Johnathon Hacker and Sarah Hack­er; great-grandchildren, Coby, Leigh, Bralynn and Landon; sister, Carrie B. Hacker of Wilson; numer­ous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and other family and friends.

    Pallbearers are Wes Hacker, Les Hacker, Greg Hacker, Steven Hacker, Chris Hacker and Matt Hacker.

    Honorary bearers are Ricky Hacker, Casey Hor­ton, Billy Floyd Hacker, Adam Hacker and Johna­thon Hacker.

    Family visitation will be from 6-8 this evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
