It’s not too late to register for Monday’s Digital Photography class with Don Alquist, longtime photographer for The Ardmoreite.
Alquist, who was recently added to the Goddard Center’s teaching artist roster, will be teaching digital photography for both youth and adults.
Students will learn basic camera operation, exposure, composition, light and shooting techniques, along with what type of lenses to use according to what they are photographing.
This class also covers different types of photography such as portraits, action shots and wildlife. Students will need to bring their own digital camera. Youth classes will begin this Monday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and continue on every Monday for four weeks.
Adult classes will also be on Mondays, from 7-8:30 p.m.
The cost of both classes is $60.
To register, call the Goddard Center Art Studios at (580) 490-6556 or (580) 226-0909.
Art classes are made possible in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
