THACKERVILLE — Aubrey Langston entered Heaven's gates on January 19, 2013. She was born April 16, 1913, in Thackerville, Oklahoma, to Robert Edgar and Lilly Samantha (Knight) Crelia.
Aubrey graduated Valedictorian from Thackerville High School in May of 1932. Soon after, she met the love of her life who would become her husband of 53 years, Lucian "Troy" Langston. They were married July 2, 1938, in Waurika, Oklahoma.
Aubrey and Troy made their home in Thackerville where they raised their two children, Mike and Shirley. She took care of the home while Troy worked as a farmer and raised cattle.
Aubrey had a love of the great outdoors, traveling with her husband to Colorado each summer. She was also a devoted fan of the San Antonio Spurs basketball team and the Denver Broncos football team. Aubrey was an avid reader, especially, the old western novels by Louis L'Amour. She loved a good game of dominoes. In addition, she loved to fish.
