  • Graveside services for Irene Claudia Maxine Riley will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Cody Westbrook officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-7 this evening at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
    Irene was born December 3, 1922, in Springer, Oklahoma, to Claude Pogue and Nannie Hartsill Pogue. She passed from this life on January 23, 2013, in Ardmore, at the age of 90.
    She was a lifelong resident of this area. She and Clarence Riley were married in Ardmore on November 29, 1940. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2003. Irene was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and attended the McLish Church of Christ. Irene loved to garden, sew, do crafts, and visit with family. She was a wonderful cook and kept her house spotless. She will be missed by many.
    Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nannie; husband, Clarence Riley; son, Clarence Donald Riley; brothers, Raymond Pogue and Wilton Pogue; and son-in-law, Myles Miller.
    She is survived by daughters, Barbara Miller of Ardmore, and Laquita Dorris and her husband, Dudley of Ardmore; sister, Anita Doss and husband, Armin of Minnesota; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
