  • Crown Heights Baptist Church in Oklahoma City was the setting for the Oct. 27 wedding of Payton Peters
    and Evan Pearson. Aaron Lokey, youth minister at First Baptist Church in Ardmore, performed the ceremony. A guitar solo was performed by Andrew McFarlin. The church was decorated with a white archway (built by the bride's late father) with lights, flowers and ribbon, orange and white pumpkins with chrysanthemums and fall leaves.
    The bride wore a strapless ball gown enhanced with glass beading and pearls in the bodice. The gown had 14 layers of tulle and the top layer of tulle with glitter.
    Parents of the couple are Marilyn Peters, Bethany; the late Andy Peters; and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pearson, Ardmore.
    Grandparents are Norma Peters, Rochelle, Ill.; the late Harold Peters; the late John and Beulah Canon; E.M. and Carol Marion, Ardmore; Tommy Pearson, Ardmore; the late Lodine Pearson; and the late Charles Bartsch.
    Honor attendants were Kattlyn Richart, Oklahoma City; and Andrew McFarlin, Edmond.
    Other members of the wedding party were Larissa Speer, Ashtyn Towery, Mikayla Boyanton, S.Sgt. Megan
    Antolin, USAF-Via Skype, Ryan Pearson, Jerod Waymire, Daniel Vanderslice, Nathan Johnson, Madison
    Boyanton, Caelyn Bowling, Jacob Richart and Aaron and Tyler Bowling.
    The couple will take a honeymoon at a later date.
    The couple live in Fort Worth, Texas, while Evan completes his master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
