Vida Clifton

Funeral services for Vida Clifton are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brad Clifton officiat­ing. Interment will follow in Lone Grove Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 3, 1922, in Dundee, Okla­homa, to Ezra Daniel and Della Mae Throneberry Parker. She passed this life on Jan. 28, 2013, in Ardmore.

She married John Wal­ton Clifton on Sept. 21, 1938, in Lone Grove, Okla. Mrs. Clifton was a volun­teer for numerous years at the Carter County Free Fair where she helped with registration. She attended the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Derle Gene Clifton and his wife, Sha­ron of Tulsa, Okla., John Clifton Jr. and his wife, Frances of Springer, Okla., and Terry Clifton and his wife, Sandra of Lone Grove, Okla.; three broth­ers, E.D. Parker of Bris­tow, Okla., Lloyd Parker and Coy Parker, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Evelyn McRee of Stockton, Calif., and Marvel Morrow of Ft. Worth, Texas; grand­children, Debby Phelps and husband, John, Ni­cole McConnell and hus­band, Danny, Mark Clif­ton, Brad Clifton and wife, Lainey, and Amy Miguel and husband, Chris; great­grandchildren, Kristin, Kylie, Blake, Faith and Rebecca.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Walton Clifton; brothers, Leon­ard and Ezret Parker; and sisters, Neva Morgan and Jean Gilbert.
