Senior Patrick Casey broke the Oklahoma track and field program record in the mile with a nation-leading time of 3:56.28 at the Randal Tyson Track Complex to win the event on the final day of competition at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark on Saturday.

Casey’s win was the lone individual victory for the Sooners on the day, who collected three other top-three finishes from Kyle King, Kevin Williams and Andrew Weaver.

Eight other Sooners, including two seniors and one junior, recorded personal-best times on the final day of competition in Fayetteville.
