Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics spokesman Mark Woodward confirmed Wednesday the state narcotics agency is conducting an investigation into potential drug record keeping irregularities at EageMed. But he said reports that the probe is complete are erroneous.
"At EagleMed's request we are doing an investigation. It's very early on in the investigation and we don't know what, if anything, we're going to find," Woodward told The Ardmoreite.
The Ardmore firm reportedly requested the investigation after internal controls uncovered questionable issues.
Efforts to contact Robbie Copeland, EagleMed Director of Business Development, were unsuccessful Wednesday.
The Ardmoreite has been unable to confirm reports a number of employees have been terminated.
EagleMed is a privately owned and operated medical air transportation company.
There have been no reports of service interruptions.
