  • SPRINGER — Jeremy Michael Kildow, age 27, of Springer, Okla., passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Springer Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Wise and Mr. Michael Apala officiating. Interment to follow at Springer Cemetery.
    Jeremy was born on January 18, 1986, to Rex Barnes, Jr. and Teri Lynn Kildow at Mesquite, Texas. He attended and graduated from Springer High School in the Class of 2004. He worked as a welder and as a certified appliance technician before becoming a freelance welder. He attended church at H20, played guitar, sang and wrote songs. He loved to ride dirt bikes and fish. His nieces and nephews loved playing with Uncle Jeremy. Jeremy was a loving person with a huge heart and gave the greatest hugs. He lit up a room with his smile and laughter. He loved helping people.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Barnes, Jr.; sister, Rexanne Marie Barnes; brother, Tanner Lee Barnes; grandfather, Danny Kildow; aunt, Denise Salzman; and great-grandparents, Boone and Dortha Kildow.
    Jeremy is survived by his mother, Teri Kildow, and her spouse, Robert Freeman; daughter, Kylee South; "G'ma", Judy Stepp; and grandparents, Rex and Linda Barnes Sr.; sister, Shauna Jacobs, and her husband, Chris Eiland; brothers, Chance Jacobs and Reagan Jacobs; great-grandparents, W.R. and Othell Smith; nieces, Addison "Gracie" Jacobs, Makenzie "Teenie" Eiland; nephews, Dawson Eiland and Haylien Alford; host of family and friends, too numerous to mention; his beloved dog, Sadie; and Ang, the love of his life.
    Serving as pallbearers will be Reagan Jacobs, Steve Palmer, Chris Eiland, Joshua Lindsey, Eddie Wise and Ryan Stepp. Honorary bearers will be Chance Jacobs, Austin Eiland, Clayton Salzman, Robert Freeman, Tyler Wise, Sean Jacobs, Michael Holt, Brian Lindsey, Scott Sampley, Michael Apala, Zylin Barnes, John Lindsey, and all of his special friends.
    Visitation will be held Monday evening, February 4, 2013 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
