Investigation ongoing in man’s death

The Ardmore Police De­partment is coordinating efforts with the Medical Examiner’s office to deter­mine the cause of death of a 21-year-old man.

Christopher Wild was pronounced dead at the scene Friday morning. Of­ficers responded to a call of a deceased person at 9:30 a.m. in the 600 block of H Street NE. Wild was found in his pick-up truck. Witnesses told officers Wild had been drinking and went to his pick-up to “sleep it off.” Sgt. Ryan Hunnicutt, Ar­dmore Police Public Infor­mation Officer said there were no signs of obvious trauma or cause of death. The investigation is ongo­ing and the department is awaiting toxicology and autopsy reports.
