An Ada man was admitted into the OU Medical Center in stable condition following a one-vehicle accident in Johnston County at 10:15 p.m. Sunday.Ryan S. Todd, 20, was traveling south on U.S. Highway 377 when his 2008 Honda Accord ran off the right side of the road near Pontotoc.
Todd overcorrected left and departed the roadway, striking a fence. Todd was transported to Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada and from there, transported to OU Medical Center where he was admitted with trunk internal injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported seat belts were not in use and air bags deployed. Todd’s condition was listed as drinking-ability impaired and the cause of collision was alcohol-DUI.
