Bonnie Brown, longtime Wilson resident, passed from this world on February 5, 2013, in Orlando, Florida. She was born October 5, 1930, to Flavius George and Ethyl Jesse Hallman Brown.
She retired from the Chickasaw Library System after many years of faithful service. She was civic minded and enjoyed her volunteer work at a local museum. Bonnie was highly intelligent and reading was her great passion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by two sisters, Merle Reed and Barbara Thomas, both of Orlando, Florida; and also numerous nieces and nephews to whom she was a great inspiration.
Per her request, the body was cremated. A memorial service is pending for a later date in Wilson, Oklahoma.
