NORMAN (AP) — A mix of ice and snow is possible across portions of Oklahoma today and forecasters have issued a winter storm warning for portions of the state.
The coming storm is part of a system that will also spread winter weather to other portions of the Plains and Midwest.
A winter storm warning is in effect into Thursday for much of northwestern Oklahoma. A watch is in effect for the Panhandle and an advisory has been posted for much of northern Oklahoma.
Up to 5 inches of snow are expected in parts of the state, and sleet could fall, too. Travel could become dangerous.
