  • Carter County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a 24-year-old man who left his family's rural Lone Grove home Dec. 26 and has not returned.

Undersheriff Milton Anthony said Jonathan Lee's mother reported him missing a week ago.

"His mother said her son told her he was staying at a friends home in Ardmore and would be home the following day (Dec. 27)," Anthony said. "We don't know who that friend is. He has not shown up or called. Calls to his cell phone goes directly to voicemail."

Lee is described as a white male, 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and light brown or dark blonde hair.

Anthony said Lee may be in the company of an older woman. However, information about his female companion is sketchy.

"We are told she is 48 years old and her first name is Dee. We have no last name or other information," Anthony said.

The undersheriff said Thursday the CCSD has received one report of a possible sighting of Lee at a local store.

"However, we have not been able to confirm that information," he said.

Anyone with information concerning Lee's whereabouts is urged to contact the CCSD by calling (580) 223-6014
