    Former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has died at the age of 96, CNN reported Monday afternoon, citing a news release from Dartmouth College. Koop served as surgeon general under President Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and is known for his trademark beard and bowtie. CNN reported that Koop is best known for his work on highlighting AIDS.

    Hot video: Horse meat found in Ikea's meatballs
    The Czech Republic's State Veterinary Administration found horse-meat in meatballs sold at Ikea in 13 countries across the European continent. Ikea is responding by recalling some meatballs, but the Swedish furniture manufacturer stated that it does not intend to stop selling all of them. Patrick Jones has the details.
