AHS to host Student Council Convention

Over 500 students and advisors, representing 25 schools, will converge on Ardmore High School Wednesday for the An­nual District 3 Student Council Convention.

The theme is "Born to Lead with the band PRAXIS." "If you're not familiar with Latin, PRAXIS ba­sically means 'walk the walk.' This motto has been the motto for our council and we want to share it with all of these active councils, to help improve their schools like it has for Ardmore," said Mar­garet Spring, convention organizer.

Ardmore High School alumni will be returning to lead breakout sessions at the event. Session topics include becoming a more effective leader, how to have game-filled pep ral­lies, budgeting and being more organized.
