Diana (Gayle) Taman

Di­ana (Gayle) Taman, a resident of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Bessie Faye Tyner and Loil “Luke” Ratliff, passed away on February 24, 2013, after a very courageous battle with cancer.

She married the late David Wayne Rasmuson Feb. 14, 1978, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, in which they had two sons, Todd and Kevan. She later married James Taman on June 3, 2000.

She was preceded in death by her first hus­band, David Wayne Ras­muson; mother, Bessie Faye Ratliff-Nixon; fa­ther, Loil “Luke” Ratliff; and two sisters, Deborah Ratliff and Kathy Smith.

She had spent the ma­jority of her life as a home­maker raising her two sons, but was currently working for Walmart of Pauls Valley.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Taman; sons, David Todd Ras­muson of Pauls Valley and Kevan Rasmuson of Ard­more; sister, Sharon Wyatt of Joy, Oklahoma; and her three special grandchil­dren who she loved dearly, Brooklyn, LaCola and Jar­rett Rasmuson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Dearman Funeral Home of Wynnewood of­ficiated by Brother Luke Panter. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ardmore.
