Diana (Gayle) Taman, a resident of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Bessie Faye Tyner and Loil “Luke” Ratliff, passed away on February 24, 2013, after a very courageous battle with cancer.
She married the late David Wayne Rasmuson Feb. 14, 1978, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, in which they had two sons, Todd and Kevan. She later married James Taman on June 3, 2000.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Wayne Rasmuson; mother, Bessie Faye Ratliff-Nixon; father, Loil “Luke” Ratliff; and two sisters, Deborah Ratliff and Kathy Smith.
She had spent the majority of her life as a homemaker raising her two sons, but was currently working for Walmart of Pauls Valley.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Taman; sons, David Todd Rasmuson of Pauls Valley and Kevan Rasmuson of Ardmore; sister, Sharon Wyatt of Joy, Oklahoma; and her three special grandchildren who she loved dearly, Brooklyn, LaCola and Jarrett Rasmuson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Dearman Funeral Home of Wynnewood officiated by Brother Luke Panter. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ardmore.
