Reedy Hezekiah Blalock

Memorial services for Reedy Hezekiah Blalock, 89, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Craddock Memorial Cha­pel with the Rev. Stevie Skinner officiating.

Reedy was born July 29, 1923, in Ardmore, to Reedy Blalock Sr. and Wil­lie Iola (Elliott) Blalock. He died March 8, 2013, at a residence in Ardmore, he was 89.

Reedy had lived in Ard­more all of his life. Reedy served his country in the United States Army dur­ing WWII and earned sev­eral service medals. He had worked as a refinery worker at Total Refinery for several years and had also worked as a salesman in retail.

He is survived by three daughters, Pam Blalock of Ardmore, Debbie Lee of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Donna Blalock of Ar­dmore. He also had four grandchildren, Michael, Trisha, Jimmy and Mi­chelle; three great-grand­children, Brandon, Kat­lyn and Marisa; and one great-great-grandchild, Sawyer.
