The Greater Southwest Historical Museum will have its March Kids Craft activities from 1-3 p.m. Saturday. This month's craft focus will be on Easter and springtime. The museum's Kids Craft theme for 2013 is Special Days & Seasons. Cost for the event is just $1 per child and is free to members of the museum.
"This month's crafts should be extra enjoyable for the kids," reports museum director Michael Anderson. "Each child will get to design their own pair of rabbit ears and make several very colorful Easter egg crafts." Many of the supplies for this month's activities were provided locally by Cook's Paint, Lowes, and the Ardmore Walmart.
Kids Craft is open to all elementary age students and children can come anytime during the two hours to make their creations. Parents are asked to stay with their child while they are at the museum.
