  • Goddard Center's Spring Art Class enrollment is now open; classes begin in April

  • Spring art class enrollment is now open at the Goddard Center. Classes are available in a variety of artistic disciplines for both children and adults.
    Drawing and Painting for ages 5-8 is taught by Julia Castanos on Thursdays beginning April 4 from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The cost of the four week class is $55. Drawing and Painting for ages 9-14 is taught by Beverly Montgomery on Tuesdays beginning April 2 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The cost for the six week class is $85.
    Hand Building Pottery for ages 5-8 is taught by Nicki Wood on Tuesdays beginning April 2 from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The cost for this four week class is $55.
    Wheel Throwing Pottery for ages 9-14 is taught by Steven Phillips on Thursdays beginning April 4 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The cost for this six week class is $100.
    Sculptural Pottery for ages 9-14 is taught by Annette Sinesio on Wednesdays beginning April 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cost for this six week class is $100.
    Digital Photography for ages 9-14 is taught by Don Alquist on Mondays beginning April 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost for this four week class is $60. Students will need to bring their own digital camera.
    A special Youth Saturday workshop this spring is Oil Pastels for ages 9-14 on May 4. The cost for the workshop is $35. It will be taught by John Swoboda and held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    Daytime Oil Painting for adults is taught by Beverly Montgomery on Thursdays beginning on April 4 from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The cost for the six week class is $85.
    Acrylic Painting for beginner and intermediate adults will be taught by Paul Walsh on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The six week class will begin on April 2 and costs $85.
    Pottery Fundamentals for adults is taught by Steven Phillips on Tuesday or Thursday evenings beginning April 2 or April 4 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. A daytime class will be available on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. beginning April 3. The cost for either six week class is $125.
    Pottery Wheel Throwing for beginning and intermediate adults will be taught on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. by Steven Phillips. The class begins on April 8 and costs $125. An adult workshop is also available during the spring session.
    Figure Drawing with a Live Model is taught by Beverly Montgomery on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $60.
