RINGLING — George Lee Phillips, 71 of Lebanon, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on June 11, 1941, in Ringling, Oklahoma, to the late Otto Phillips and Ruby Smith Phillips.

George was raised in Ringling and later joined the United States Army. While living in Ringling he worked as a mechanic in Healdton. In 1979 he moved to Lebanon where he owned and operated the Lebanon Fish House. He married Lynette Paschall on November 3, 1994, in Mena, Arkansas. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, reading western books and family time.

He is survived by his wife, Lynette Phillips, Lebanon, Oklahoma; son, Leslie Ray Phillips and wife, Jennifer, Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sidney and Brice Nittler, Sophie Brown, Jake and Jack Phillips and Dottie Mae Crimm, Kristen and Taylor Farris and Meagan and Octavia Gerwin; stepchildren, Eric Brown and wife Nicole, Erie, Colorado, April Nittler, Arkansas City, Kansas; sister, Georgia Gibson and husband, Max, Ringling, Oklahoma; nieces, Giohna Price and husband Scott, Ringling, Oklahoma, Monica Smith and husband, Brent, Ringling, Oklahoma; numerous other family and friends

Visitation will be today at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, from noon to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Services will be Monday, March 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Ringling Cemetery Pavilion, Ringling, Oklahoma. Roy Vinson will officiate the services. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
