Diane Marie Koller of Ardmore, Okla., age 83, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in The Chapel at Griffin-Hillcrest with Minister Johnny Elmore officiating. Private interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Services will conclude in The Chapel.

Diane was born on March 31, 1929, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to Taylor Jefferson Owens and Lenora (Kennedy) Owens.

She is a graduate of Antlers High School. In 1942, Diane moved to Ardmore and worked in the cafeteria at the Ardmore Army Airfield during World War II. She met her future husband, R.C. "Joe" Koller Jr., while working as the elevator operator in the Griffin Building. They married on June 2, 1946, in Marietta, Okla., and Diane became a full-time homemaker. She was baptized into Christ in 1954 and she and Joe joined the 1st Avenue Church of Christ in Ardmore.

Diane enjoyed bird watching and solving crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed traveling in their motor home, seeing most of the United States, and collecting rocks along the way for her rock garden at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wallace Owens; and half brother, John Owens.

Diane is survived by her husband, Joe of the home; daughters, Pat Koller of Austin, Texas, and Terese Adams and husband, Buzz of McKinney, Texas; and granddaughter, Hannah Adams of McKinney, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Wayne Brittian, Derry Reynolds, Jerry Lynn Bridgman, Lee Roy Briscoe, Dennis Cannon and Sean McCallister.
