Services for Jimmy D. Keith Sr. will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Craddock Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will be at Lone Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 this evening at Craddock Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born on April 22, 1944, in Lone Grove, to Robert and Mable Keith. He passed from this life on March 31, 2013, in Ardmore, at the age of 68.
He was a lifelong resident of this area and was of the Assembly of God Faith. Jimmy was a 32 degree Mason, and also a member of the VFW, DAV and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Jimmy owned the car dealership Town and Country Motors and also loved horses and horse racing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Carlton and Dixon Keith.
He is survived by his wife, Necia Keith; his children, the Rev. Jimmy Dolan Keith Jr. and wife, Rachel of Ada, Okla., and Kimberly Upton and husband, Chad of Lone Grove, Okla.; stepchildren, Theresa Lynn Newton, Ardmore, Okla., and Stephen Ray Newton and wife, Mary of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brothers and sisters, Beth Chandler and husband, Jerrell of Blanchard, Okla., Dow Keith and wife, Claudia of Healdton, Okla., Ruth Barber and husband, Loy of Oklahoma City, Okla., Earsee Kenney and husband, Kenneth of Norman, Okla., and Eddie Keith and wife, Karen of Okarche, Okla.; six grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Jaron and Kara Keith of Ada, Okla., and Colton and Caden Bridgman of Lone Grove, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was a beloved husband, father, brother, papa and friend who will be missed by many.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Upton, Weston Blaine, Calvin Knight, Joshua Keith, Corey Butler and Rick Keith.
