The Goddard Center's Art Studios 4th Annual Paint-A-Pot fundraiser will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Although geared for children, people of all ages can enjoy picking out a piece of pottery they would like to paint.

All pottery is handcrafted by Artist-in-Residence Steven Phillips. Phillips has turned the clay classroom into a production studio over the past month, turning out many unique bowls, vases and plates for this fundraiser. The pieces are priced starting at $20 and go up in $5 increments depending on the size of the piece participants select. There are also unique masks handcrafted by Murray State College Professor of Art Alan Burris.

After selecting a piece, it will be glazed and ready for firing. Glazes are food safe and available in various colors and clear. All pieces will be fired after the event and available for pick-up prior to Mother's Day.

All proceeds raised from this fundraiser will benefit the Art Studios.

Pre-registration is not required. The event will be first-come, first-serve. To ask questions, call the Goddard Center at (580) 226-0909, the Art Studios at (580) 490-6556, or visit their website at The Goddard Art Studios building is located west of the main Goddard building at 425 First Ave. S.W.
