Book lovers can find shelves full of deals at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Friends of the Library Book Sale, Saturday through Sunday, in the basement of UCO's Max Chambers Library.

Sponsored by the Chambers Library and Friends of the Library of UCO, the book sale will begin with a special pre-sale for Friends of the Library members from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, while the public is invited to shop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Materials for sale include popular novels, non-fiction books, curriculum materials and DVDs. Hardback books are $2 and paperbacks are 50-cents. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Max Chambers Library and its collections.

“The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale is a wonderful opportunity to support the library collections and find something for your own collection,” said Lori Wylie, development manager of Central’s library.

Those who join the Friends of the Library on or before April 12 will gain first-day access to the book sale. Membership costs begin at $10.

The library is located on the southeast corner of University Drive and Ayers in Edmond.
