TISHOMINGO — Memorial services for Theadore Edward Moore, 74, of Kingston, Oklahoma, will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, in the Clark Funeral Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Mr. Moore passed away on April 17, 2013, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Theadore was born on February 25, 1939, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Albert E. Moore and Annie (Yandel) Moore. He graduated from high school in Atoka, Oklahoma, later raising his family in Springer, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore spent most of his life in Carter and Marshall Counties. He worked for many years as a cement finisher before his retirement. Mr. Moore was involved in many activities during his life to include, being an accomplished guitar player, a fisherman, and was most noted for having "The Best Little Movie House in Kingston."
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Don Moore; and his sister, Syble Jean Thomas.
Mr. Moore is survived by his son, Lee Moore of Mannsville, Oklahoma; two daughters, Gena Weldon of Madill, Oklahoma, and Ragan Tufano of Roswell, New Mexico; his brother, Victor "Blackie" Moore of Marietta, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
