  • Milburn woman dies from crash injuries

  • A Milburn woman, injured April 29 in a two vehicle crash, has died.
    The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Wanda E. Beal, 72, died after being airlifted to OU Medical center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in serious condition with multiple injuries.
    Milburn was the driver of a 2012 Dodge when her vehicle was hit by a 1994 Dodge pickup, driven by Collin Lee Sullivan, 16, Tishomingo. The accident occurred on State Highway 78 at State Highway 22.
    Sullivan was northbound on SH 22 and failed to yield at a stop sign. He hit Beal's car which was eastbound on SH 78.
    Sullivan was treated for multiple injures at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He was later released.
    Desteny Michelle Albertson, 18, a passenger in Beal's car, was also airlifted to OU Medical Center. She was admitted in serious condition with multiple injuries.
    OHP said seatbelts were not use in either vehicle at the time of the crash.
