  • Ardmore High School alumnus Elizabeth Douglass is in the running to become a top 24 contestant for Model Nation TV, a modeling reality show that she tried out for in April.
But she needs help to advance to the next level.
Douglass needs as many votes as possible on www.modelnationtv.com or on facebook.com/modelknationtv. Voters can vote up to 100 times. On the website, Douglass is listed as "Elizabeth D." Voting ends May 11.
In April, she attended an audition which included runway, interview and portfolio events. From that audition, Douglass was chosen as a final 59 contestant which puts her in the current running for the television show. She is also the only Oklahoma contestant.
Douglass, the daughter of Ed and Jodie Douglass, is currently a freshman at the University of Oklahoma pursuing a degree in fashion. She hopes to become a professional model and use her degree to break into the fashion industry.
If chosen to be on the show, Douglass will spend a month, starting in Dallas, being challenged to learn about the modeling and fashion industry. The winner of the show will win a modeling contract.
