After winning its 10th Big 12 title last weekend, the No. 1 Oklahoma softball team took home even more hardware on Tuesday with the announcement of the Big 12 postseason awards.
Patty Gasso was named Coach of the Year for the second year in a row, while senior Keilani Ricketts took home Pitcher of the Year honors and sophomore Shelby Pendley was chosen as Player of the Year. It's just the second time since 2002 that one team has swept all three awards.
In addition, the Sooners put five players on the All-Big 12 First Team, two players on the All-Big 12 Second Team and four on the inaugural All-Big 12 Defensive Team.
