The Dallas Cowboys released guard D.J. Hall. The team signed defensive end Anthony Hargrove to a one-year contract today.

Hargrove was originally drafted in the third round (91st overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams out of Georgia Tech. For his career, he has started 25-of-102 games recording 323 tackles, 19.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. Hargrove played his first two seasons with the Rams before being traded during the 2006 season to the Buffalo Bills for a fifth round draft choice in 2007. He played the rest of 2006 and 2007 for Buffalo before serving a one-year suspension by the commissioner for violating the league's substance-abuse policy in 2008. Hargrove signed with the New Orleans Saints on April 5, 2009 and played two seasons with the Saints, one season (2011) with Seattle and was signed by Green Bay on March 29, 2012, but was released during final cuts and remained out of football for 2012.
