A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with the June 1 shooting of an Ardmore man.

Eric J. Jackson appeared in district court this morning to face a charge of use of a vehicle to discharge a weapon. Jackson is accused of shooting Quentin D. Sheppard, 33, who was critically injured and remains in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Bond was set at $75,000. Jackson immediately posted bond and was released from the county jail.
